Live Device Training

Overview

Technology is Only as Good as the People Using It

The most advanced printing system in the world delivers no value if the people operating it lack the knowledge to use it effectively. Untrained users make mistakes — using the wrong paper settings, printing unnecessary colour pages, mishandling the document feeder, ignoring maintenance indicators — all of which drive up costs and drive down device reliability.

Training is not an afterthought in our service model: it is an integrated component of every significant product deployment. And for organisations that want to go further — building manufacturer-certified expertise within their own teams — we facilitate certification programmes from Ricoh, HP, and Zebra.

Delivery

Flexible Training Delivery Formats

On-Site Training

Our trainer travels to your location and delivers training on the actual devices installed in your environment. This is the most effective format for hands-on operational training and is the standard for production device operator training.

Remote Training (Video Call)

For software-focused training, remote delivery via Microsoft Teams or Zoom is highly effective and eliminates travel time. Ideal for multi-site organisations where the same training is needed across geographically dispersed offices.

Hybrid Training

A combination of on-site and remote delivery — for example, hands-on device familiarisation delivered on-site with follow-up software administration training delivered remotely.

Certification

Manufacturer Certification Programmes

Ricoh Certification

Ricoh Certified Service Technician (Office) and Ricoh Certified Service Technician (Production). Combined classroom and practical assessment. Valid for 2 years.

HP Certification

HP Accredited Systems Engineer (Printing & Imaging). Online self-study modules plus optional practical assessment.

Zebra Certification

Outcomes

What Your Team Gains from Training

Increased Productivity

Users who know how to use their devices effectively print faster, scan more efficiently, and waste less time troubleshooting avoidable problems.

Reduced Support Calls

Well-trained users generate significantly fewer IT helpdesk calls about printing issues — freeing IT resources for strategic work.

Lower Print Costs

Users trained in cost-conscious printing behaviour — using duplex, choosing mono when colour is unnecessary — directly reduce an organisation's print spend.

Longer Device Life

Operators who know how to handle media correctly, clean devices properly, and recognise early warning signs prevent avoidable damage.

Formal Certification

Technical staff who complete manufacturer certification programmes hold formally recognised credentials that validate their expertise.
