The Agfa Azura TS is a chemistry-free, negative-working thermal computer-to-plate (CtP) system built on Agfa's proven ThermoFuse coating technology for commercial sheet-fed and web offset printing. Using a physical, non-ablative imaging process on a grained and anodised aluminum substrate, it is exposed on standard 830 nm thermal platesetters at around 200 mJ/cm² and then simply cleaned and gummed in one step in the Azura C95 or C125 Clean-Out Unit — no developer or replenisher required. It delivers razor-sharp image quality, holding 2–98% screen tints at 200 lpi (240 lpi Sublima), with run lengths up to 100,000 impressions and 24-hour latent image stability for predictable, care-free plate production.
